'American History X' Star Edward Furlong Sentenced To Six Months In Jail

Edward Furlong ("American History X," "Terminator 2") has been sentenced to six months in jail for violating the terms of his parole, according to a report from TMZ. The 2010 case saw Furlong issued a restraining order from his ex-wife Rachael Kneeland.

The actor was given three years probation, a condition he violated by contacting his estranged wife.

Furlong also committed two other recent probation violations, including one for using force against his ex-girlfriend, Monica Keena, and another which saw him attempt to contact the same women in violation of a separate restraining order.

The judge, hearing the case, angrily accused Furlong of not taking the injunctions seriously, adding that he needs to be in an institution where he'll be treated for his substance abuse problems.
